Policies

The terms that govern Mandate Learning courses, learner records, and this site — written to be clear and to meet the standards of the authorities that approve continuing education.

Status: Mandate Learning's NMLS Approved Course Provider application (mortgage CE) is in preparation. Courses are not yet approved and do not yet satisfy continuing-education credit requirements. The policies below govern our courses upon approval and the use of this site today.
Refunds

Refund policy

Enrollment in a Mandate Learning course may be refunded in full at any time before the learner begins the course. After a learner has begun a course, a refund is issued for a documented technical failure that prevents completion, or for a duplicate purchase. A refund is not issued once a course has been completed in its entirety and a certificate of completion has been issued.

If enrollment was procured through any misrepresentation by Mandate, the learner is entitled to a full refund. To request a refund, contact info@mandatelearning.com; requests are acknowledged within two business days and resolved promptly.

Cancellation

Course cancellation policy

A learner may cancel an enrollment before beginning a course and receive a full refund under the Refund policy above. Progress through a self-paced course is saved, and a learner may pause and resume at any time before the applicable renewal deadline.

If Mandate cancels or materially reschedules a course, affected learners are notified by email and offered a full refund or transfer to an equivalent offering at no additional cost. Mandate may suspend or revoke access where a learner does not meet identity-verification or academic-integrity requirements; in such cases completion is not awarded and the matter is handled under the Grievance policy.

Privacy & data

Privacy policy

Mandate Learning collects only the information needed to deliver courses, verify learner identity, issue completion records, and report credit to the relevant regulator: name and contact information; license, registry, or certification number; course progress, engagement, and assessment results; and identity-verification data.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not rent or resell learner contact information for marketing. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, hosted with a reputable cloud provider, and access is restricted to authorized personnel on a role basis. Learner records are retained for the period required by the relevant authority (see Records & reporting) and are otherwise deleted on request where no regulatory retention obligation applies.

To ask a question, request a copy of your data, or request deletion, contact info@mandatelearning.com.

Grievances

Grievance & complaint policy

A learner may raise a concern or complaint about any Mandate course, its content, an instructor, an assessment, or a completion record by contacting info@mandatelearning.com. Complaints are acknowledged within two business days and reviewed by Mandate's education lead, who responds with a resolution or a plan and timeline.

If a concern is not resolved to the learner's satisfaction, the learner may escalate to the relevant authority — for example, the learner's state mortgage regulator or the NMLS Ombudsman. Mandate cooperates fully with any regulator inquiry.

Accessibility

Accessibility statement

Mandate Learning is committed to making its courses usable by every learner. Our courses are designed toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA — including keyboard navigation, sufficient contrast, captioned media, and screen-reader-compatible structure.

A learner who needs an accommodation to complete a course may contact info@mandatelearning.com, and Mandate will work to provide an equivalent, accessible experience. Mandate does not discriminate on the basis of disability or any other protected characteristic.

Records & reporting

Records, certificates & credit reporting

A certificate of completion is issued only after a learner completes a course in its entirety and passes the required assessment — never before. Upon provider approval, Mandate reports completions to the relevant authority within the timeframe that authority requires.

Mandate retains course content, learner completion records, assessment results, and engagement and seat-time logs for the period required by the relevant authority — for example, five years for SAFE Act mortgage continuing education — and makes those records available to the authority on request.

These policies are maintained by Mandate Learning LLC and updated as our courses launch and as regulatory requirements evolve. Questions: info@mandatelearning.com.
